As Aksa, our goal is to consider environmental impacts in the activities, services, and production processes we carry out, reduce the use of natural resources, minimize the harm to soil, water, and air, and improve and develop environmental performance.
Aksa Akrilik Kimya San. A.Ş., operating within the Organized Industrial Zone, incorporates the principle of 'Life Cycle Analysis' in its activities, services, and production processes.
Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) is a method that contributes to identifying, examining, reporting, calculating, and managing the environmental impacts at every stage of a product or process from production to disposal. These environmental impacts are evaluated based on aspects such as climate change, ozone layer depletion, eutrophication, toxic emissions, and acidification in terms of natural resource consumption. The LCA includes stages such as raw material acquisition, production, use, end-of-life, recycling, and disposal.
Our Environmental Management System involves the establishment of a system for identifying and controlling risks, its continuous improvement, adherence to the requirements of the EMS established with reference to the ISO 14001:2015 standard, and the inclusion of all our stakeholders mentioned in the sustainability report published on Aksa's website.
